Purpose
As Gaziantep Güven Boya İnşaat Yapı Malz. San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti., we adopt a human-centered approach in all the services we provide and commit to acting with a strong sense of social responsibility. Through this policy, we aim to contribute to environmental, social, and economic sustainability by integrating our understanding of social responsibility into all our activities. We regard social responsibility not only as a corporate obligation but also as one of the fundamental elements of our management approach and strive to make it an integral part of our corporate culture.
Scope
This social responsibility policy covers:
- Our existing polyester yarn production facility and our future investments,
- All employees of Güven Boya,
- All stakeholders of Güven Boya, including suppliers, contractors, subcontractors, and personnel involved in contracts with other organizations.
Our Policy and Commitments
In all areas in which we operate;
No Child Labor
Our company complies with the minimum age requirements set by applicable laws and regulations and does not employ child labor. Respecting children’s rights to healthy development and education is one of our fundamental principles.
Respect for Freedom of Association and the Right to Collective Bargaining
We respect our employees’ rights to join trade unions, communicate with their representatives, and engage in collective bargaining, and we support them in freely exercising their democratic rights.
Forced and Compulsory Labor
All our employment relationships are based on voluntariness. No employee is subjected to forced labor, and employment contracts are established through free will.
Prevention of Harassment and Abuse
We apply a zero-tolerance policy against all forms of verbal, physical, or psychological violence, harassment, and abuse in our workplaces. Ensuring a peaceful and safe working environment is our primary responsibility.
Working Hours and Wages
Employees’ working hours are implemented in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Overtime work is carried out on a voluntary basis without coercion. Working hours, overtime, and all payments are conducted in full compliance with legal requirements. Compensation is provided fairly, transparently, and on time.
