Occupational Health and Safety Policy

Purpose

As Güven Boya, with the responsibility of being a large-scale organization operating in polyester yarn production, we consider the health and safety of our employees as our top priority. We are committed to providing safe and healthy working conditions in all our activities in order to prevent work-related injuries and occupational diseases. This policy has been prepared in accordance with the scope, scale, context of our organization, and the nature of our occupational health and safety (OHS) risks and opportunities.

Scope

This occupational health and safety policy covers:

• Our existing polyester yarn production facility and all future investments,
• All employees working within Güven Boya,
• All stakeholders of Güven Boya, including suppliers, contractors, subcontractors, and personnel involved in contracts with other organizations.

Policy and Commitments

In all areas in which we operate:

• All occupational health and safety practices are carried out in full compliance with applicable national legislation and relevant standards.
• To prevent potential work accidents and occupational diseases, hazards are identified, risks are analyzed, and appropriate preventive measures are implemented.
• We establish a systematic and measurable framework for setting OHS objectives.
• We continuously review and improve our OHS management system by adapting to evolving technologies and best practices.
• We provide the necessary resources (training, equipment, personal protective equipment, technical and managerial support) to ensure safe working environments.
• All employees receive regular occupational health and safety training relevant to their duties to ensure the development and sustainability of OHS awareness.
• We encourage employee participation by considering their opinions and suggestions on occupational health and safety matters and supporting open communication.
• We develop emergency scenarios, conduct drills, and perform regular equipment inspections to ensure preparedness for potential emergencies and to prevent accidents.
• We ensure that all subcontractor employees and visitors at the workplace comply with occupational health and safety rules.
