Our founder Fevzi Uslu began his professional career in 1970 as a paint craftsman and took his first step into trade by opening a small 15 m² hardware store. Thanks to his determination and skill, the business gradually grew and reached a significant position in the wholesale paint sales sector.
Development in the 1980s
In the 1980s, alongside the growth of the carpet industry in Gaziantep, the supply of latex (adhesive) products required by the sector began; additionally, by becoming a Marshall Paint dealer, activities were expanded in the construction, carpet, and textile sectors.
1982 — Family Involvement
In 1982, Bülent and Beyhan Uslu joined the business, and the company rapidly increased its supply of products for the paint, carpet, and textile sectors in the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia regions.
2000 — Corporate Structuring
By the year 2000, the business became institutionalized and continued its commercial activities under the name Gaziantep Güven Boya.
2005 and Beyond
In 2005, the company began import activities for certain products for the furniture, leather, and construction sectors, thus entering export and import operations. From 2006 onward, the supply of polyester yarn (FDY, DTY, POY) to the carpet sector began.
Polyester Yarn Production
With dope-dyed products and a special color palette consisting of hundreds of colors, including 34 standard shades, FDY, DTY, POY, 3D shaggy, textured, micro polyester, metallic, and mélange yarns are produced in integrated facilities.
2015 — Uslu Group Structuring
As of 2015, Uslu Group began providing services in the construction, carpet, textile, and furniture sectors with three companies, established yarn production and twisting facilities, and increased its R&D activities.
2024 — New Investment
In 2024, Kristal Mensucat joined the group, and a major investment was made in a large-scale yarn production facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
